The Sunset Phú Quốc - Ông Thạch

Brief Recap & Campaign Objective

Within “The Sunset Phú Quốc”, Sungroup wanted each premium building to stand for a distinct facet of the master development. “Ông Thạch” carries the spirit of gem and crystal—rare, luminous, quietly powerful. The task was to create a building-level branding campaign that signals rarity and refinement, while still belonging harmoniously to the larger Sunset Town narrative.

The Creative Approach

We treated Ông Thạch as a crystalline guardian of the bay—an architectural gem that catches and refracts the last light of the day. The approach was minimal, almost editorial: one building, one cluster of gems, one unforgettable sunset. Typography and composition carry a boutique, collectible feel rather than a loud, generic real estate advertisement.

Ideation & Explorations

We built the narrative around three ideas: “crystal clarity” in investment, “gem-like rarity” in supply, and “sunset alchemy” in lifestyle. This translated into storylines where Ông Thạch is not simply a place to live, but an object of desire—like a carefully cut stone that reveals different facets under changing light. Headlines and body copy echo gemology language without becoming cliché.

How was the concept developed?

Initially, client define their "Alaso" (Ông Thạch) name is natural stone or rock, which is hard for a premium look and feel. I did proposed another way of encoding the "thạch" meaning: leveraging it by using crystal/gem as an alternative visual cue, instead of literally using the stone or rock.
