POWELLDD needed a clear, ownable visual position in the crowded Vietnamese e-scooter market, especially among students. The brief: build an IMC branding campaign that speaks the language of teens—bold, playful, slightly chaotic—while still directing them towards a specific, recognizable brand world. The business goal: turn POWELLDD into the “ngàn tim” choice for daily school-to-life mobility.
The Creative Approach
We leaned into the energy of teen fandoms and gaming culture: likes, hearts, combos, “flex” moments. The creative approach blends the brand’s red with 8-bit game aesthetics and a modern twist on the iconic Poké ball, turning the scooter choice into a power-up rather than a rational purchase. The tone is cheeky and self-aware, like a friend who is both your co-pilot and your hype-man.
Ideation & Explorations
From “Tự Teen Flex Xế Ngàn Tim”, we developed scenarios where the scooter becomes a badge of identity: the ride you park, post and get “ngàn tim” for. We sketched journeys like “from class to café to club”, “from cram school to rooftop”, each mapped as a level in an 8-bit game. The Poké ball reference becomes an abstract “eye-catch’em-all” element, emphasizing the key visual interaction.
How was the concept developed?
Every new visual direction comes from the logo story. By relating the unique POWELLDD logo with the iconic Poké Ball, I figured out a niche visual approach for the brand.
